Bio
Abigail Darlington has been playing violin since she was four years old.
She was a member of the Symphony of the Mountains Primo Orchestra for four years, and then the Symphony of the Mountains Youth Orchestra for five years under the instruction of Ross Bader, Dr. Susan Nicholson, and Dr. David Kovac. As a high school senior, she joined the East Tennessee State University Chamber Ensemble. She is a state-ranked violinist, having qualified for both All-East and All-State through the East Tennessee Band and Orchestra Association. She also assisted the Symphony of the Mountains Primo Orchestra for elementary and middle school children for two years.
Though Abigail was classically trained and is most experienced in the classical realm, she is proficient in fiddle, pop, blues, and bluegrass, and enjoys playing film scores.
Abigail has been teaching violin with the Suzuki Method since 2019. She taught at Trinity Arts Center and Johnson City Arts Center in Johnson City, TN for two years and she now teaches at her own private studio.

Abigail has a large family of eight, loves working with kids, and is a full-time student at East Tennessee State University. She is currently pursuing a major in Early Childhood Development (Early Care and Education) and minors in both Communicative Disorders and Violin Performance. She hopes to continue her education by pursuing a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology
